Bartender for South Taproom 

Position: Bartender

Part-Time or Full-Time | $5/hr + Tips (Paid Bi-Weekly)

What You'll Do:

  • Serve beer and non-alcoholic beverages with strong product knowledge and enthusiasm

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas throughout each shift

  • Take initiative on restocking, bar prep, and inventory management

  • Change and move kegs safely and efficiently as needed

  • Educate guests on our beer offerings and guide them toward selections they’ll enjoy

  • Operate the POS system with accuracy and efficiency

  • Follow all TABC and company policies, including checking IDs and responsible service

  • Report any maintenance or service issues promptly to management

  • Assist with opening and closing duties

  • Represent the St. Elmo vibe—friendly, knowledgeable, and professional

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization

  • Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Comfortable with physical aspects of the job (e.g., lifting kegs, standing for long periods)

  • TABC and Food Handler certifications (or willingness to obtain before start date)

  • Positive attitude and a team-first mentality

Bonus Points For:

  • Familiarity with draft systems and beer styles

  • Experience in a brewery, taproom, or similar fast-paced service environment

  • Interest in beer education, events, or community engagement
