FOH Staff for Springdale Taproom 

St. Elmo Brewing is hiring a full-time front of house team member for our new Springdale location in North East Austin. Springdale features expanded hours with a full coffee program, in addition to our beers.

We are looking for team members who are passionate about beer, enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and are excited to help build the guest experience at our newest taproom.

About St. Elmo Brewing
Founded in 2016, St. Elmo Brewing is a community-driven brewery based in Austin, Texas. Known for our welcoming taprooms and wide range of beers, we aim to create a space where everyone can enjoy good drinks and good company. Our new Springdale taproom expands on this mission, offering coffee service every morning and craft beer throughout the day.

Position Overview:
 The ideal candidates will be comfortable working both behind the bar and on the coffee bar. Primary responsibilities include

  • Preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks with care and consistency

  • Serving beer and non-alcoholic beverages, with strong product knowledge

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar, taproom, and beer garden

  • Taking initiative on bar prep, restocking, and inventory management

  • Providing friendly, efficient service to all guests

  • Changing and moving kegs as needed

  • Following company policies and reporting maintenance or service issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends

  • Prior barista or bartending experience in a high-volume setting preferred

  • Valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certificate required before first shift

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
